The City of East Moline has announced some important dates for spring cleaning next month.

From Monday, April 1 through Friday, April 26, yard waste will be picked up with no sticker needed. East Moline residents can put out their yard waste to be picked up on their regular garbage day.
Bulky item collection will also be available during April. Items will need to be curbside by 6 a.m. on the Monday of the following weeks. For Monday and Tuesday garbage customers bulky items will be picked up April 8 through April 12. For Thursday and Friday customers they will be picked up April 15 through April 19. Republic Services will pick up bulky items at some point during those weeks.
Items that will not be accepted are electronics like televisions or computers and construction materials. Small or loose items that do not fit in a regular garbage can must be boxed or bagged. Residents can put out up to four appliances and up to ten tires to be picked up for free.
